So, now you have your quilt designed, your fabrics selected and you're ready to make this thing! But how do you get all this helpful planning out of PreQuilt and into your sewing room?!?
In this sub-module, you'll learn how download all your quilt information from PreQuilt so that you can print it to use as a resource when shopping and sewing.
You are able to download:
Quilt Image
Quilt legend with block names & mapping
Quilt image with gridlines
Quilt image with block outlines
Fabric Pull
Block Images with dimensions & quantity
The Download panel will open up. On the left hand side you'll see an image of the entire quilt and on the right hand side you'll see your fabric and block information.
Click on the Download the Design button to get a high-res image of your quilt. It will be saved as a JPG on your computer.
On the right hand side, you will see your Fabric Pull, which is the list of fabrics being used in your quilt, as well as your block inventory.
Click on the Download the Colors + Blocks button.
It will be saved as a PDF file on your computer.
There are another 3 different quilt image options that you can also download in addition to the regular quilt image.
Click on the Show Options button.
Check the Block Names checkbox and then click on the Update button.
You will see that the quilt image has been updated to be a legend that indicates where and which blocks are being used in your quilt.
Click on the Show Options button.
Check the Grid Lines checkbox and then click on the Update button.
You will see that the quilt image has been updated to add grid lines between blocks as well as the column and row headers with numbers so that you can map out your quilt construction.
Click on the Show Options button.
Check the Block Outlines checkbox and then click on the Update button.
You will see that the quilt image has been updated to a line drawing of your quilt.
From the central vertical toolbar, click on the Download Image button ().
