# Fabric Dashboard

## Fabric Dashboard

The **Fabric Dashboard** is the home of all your digital [*printed fabric swatches*](https://glossary.prequilt.com/pq-glossary/ps#printed-fabric-swatch-also-fabric-swatch). Printed fabric swatches can be uploaded via your computer or URL, imported directly from linked fabric shops, or imported as photographs using your smartphone.

From the main Fabric Dashboard, you can:

### a | Bulk Upload from Computer

There are three ways to import fabric swatches using the Fabric Dashboard. The first is to bulk upload jpgs that are saved on your computer.

For instruction on this see:

{% endcontent-ref %}

### b | Import from URL

The second way to import fabric swatches into PreQuilt is by entering the URL address for a printed fabric swatch that is hosted online. For best results, use the URL for the image only (not the entire website URL).

### c | Import from Linked Shop

The third way to import fabric swatches into PreQuilt is to save fabric swatches found in the visual databases from the fabric shops linked in PreQuilt. The added bonus is that you know where to buy your fabric after designing with it.

### d | Organize Fabric Swatches

Your digital fabric swatches can also be organized into folders. You can create new folders by clicking on the Add a Folder button (). Drag and drop fabric swatch tiles into folders to move them.

### e | Edit Fabric Swatch

You can also edit your digital fabric swatches from the Fabric Dashboard by clicking on the **Edit Block** button located underneath the fabric swatch on its tile. If a fabric swatch is being used in a quilt design, it will have a black USED button on it with the number of times it's being used. Other editing options are finding out where a fabric swatch is being used and deleting it.
