# 04c | Search for a Color by Name

## Module 04c | How to Search for a Color Swatch by Name

In PreQuilt, the solid fabric color cards are organized (as best as we can) in the same order as the manufacturer's physical color cards.\*

In this sub-module, you'll learn how to make life easier when searching for a specific solid fabric by name. The **Sort by Name** feature will alphabetize the solid fabric swatches, making them easier to find. This is particularly helpful when you know exactly what fabric you'd like to use.

\*Note: We can often miss a new color card update, so please do not hesitate to email us at <hello@prequilt.com> and let us know that there are new solid fabrics for your favorite manufacturer! We'll do our best to quickly add them to PreQuilt.
