# 06 | Download design

**06** | *Download at least 1 quilt design and color palette.*

***Objective*** | To download your quilt design and color palette for your records and reference.

***Did You Know*** | Downloading the image of your quilt makes an excellent quilt map for when you construct your quilt. And downloading the color palette helps when you go shopping.&#x20;

*\*Always double check your real fabric, digital swatches look different depending on your monitor settings.*

### <mark style="color:blue;">01 | Downloading Quilt Design & Color Palette</mark>

1. On the central [*<mark style="color:blue;">Toolbar</mark>*](https://glossary.prequilt.com/pq-glossary/ts#toolbar), click on the <mark style="color:blue;">**Download Image**</mark> button (<img src="/files/iFte09gO0htTgvloE4HJ" alt="" data-size="line">).

2. A pop-up window will open with the quilt map on the left hand side and the colorway on the right hand side.

3. Click on the <mark style="color:blue;">**Download the Design**</mark> button (on the left side) to download only the quilt map.

4. Click on <mark style="color:blue;">**Download the Colors + Blocks**</mark> button (on the right side) to download the color swatches and block information.
