# 07d | Mirror Quilt Blocks

## Module 07d | How to Mirror Quilt Blocks in a Quilt

Sometimes you'll want to mirror a block to create some symmetry or another design element. In this sub-module, you'll learn how to easily mirror a block (horizontally or vertically).

Please note that when you mirror a block, you are often manifesting a unique block that has not been created as a block. This is important to remember when you go to make your quilt that some blocks might have a regular and mirrored version.

Mirrored blocks will be noted in your quilt information download and denoted with an asterisk.

**NOTE:** The blocks in the images below are different than those in the video. This is because, I mistakenly used a block that looks the same when its mirrored and rotated. I'll update the video at a later date.
